Perendev Magnet
Motor
AI sez:
Perendev motor
The "inventor" of the Perendev motor was Mike
Brady, who marketed such a motor through his company,
Perendev-Group. However, Brady was later charged with serious
fraud and sentenced to five years and nine months in prison.
While the Perendev motor, a type of magnet motor, is often
associated with Brady, it's important to note that the concept
of a perpetual motion machine, which the Perendev motor is
often presented as, is not scientifically viable..

Permanent magnet machine
02K53/00 -- Alleged dynamo-electric perpetua mobilia
Abstract
The invention provides
a magnetic repellent motor which comprises: a shaft (26)
rotatable about its longitudinal axis, a first set (16) of
magnetics (14) arranged about the shaft (26) in a rotor (10) for
rotation with the shaft (26), and a second set (42) of magnetics
(40) arranged in a stator (32) surrounding the rotor (10),
wherein the second set (42) of magnetics (40) is in interaction
with the first set (16) of magnetics (14), wherein the magnetics
(14, 40) of the first and second sets (16, 42) of magnetics are
at least partially magnetically screened so as to concentrate
their magnetic field strength in the direction of the gap
between rotor (10) and stator (32).

The document summarizes a 2006 patent application by Mike
Brady of Perendev for a "Permanent Magnet Machine" that was not
awarded. The application proposed a magnetic repellant motor
with a rotor containing magnets that would rotate within a
stator containing opposing magnets. While the application was
published, notes indicate it was challenged as being a perpetual
motion machine design.

...The European Patent Office also did not recognize the
motor. Nevertheless, the inventor, Michael B. (61), marketed
the magnetic motor ("Permanent Magnet Machine") starting in
2006. Yesterday, he vehemently denied the accusation of
particularly serious fraud before the regional court and then
remained silent.
The engineer from South Africa, who lives in Switzerland,
founded Perendev Energy-Power GmbH in Munich and managed the
business. The company advertised the magnetic motor online,
and B. described his invention in an interview with
NetJournal, a magazine for new energy technologies. According
to the indictment, he created the impression that the motor
was ready for series production and that production had
already begun. He also offered licensing agreements for the
exclusive distribution of the "Permanent Magnet Machine." He
had already invited people to a presentation at the Sheraton,
but canceled at short notice. He allegedly felt threatened by
the energy companies.

Patent vorgetäuscht: Tüftler muss ins Gefängnis
Patent faked: inventor must go to prison
Munich – A 61-year-old engineer may have been
celebrating too soon: He had faked a patent and made a
substantial profit. Now he has been convicted.
A South African engineer is now facing five years and nine
months in prison for illegally falsifying a patent. The
61-year-old was found guilty by the Munich Regional Court on
Tuesday after he touted a magnetic motor as not actually ready
for production, making a six-figure profit from it. According
to a judicial spokeswoman, the inventor was convicted of 36
counts of completed fraud and 19 counts of attempted fraud.
The South African, whose company is based in the Munich
district, attempted to patent his "Permanent Magnet Machine"
six years ago. His invention was intended to function like a
perpetual motion machine without the need for a power supply.
However, the application was rejected by the European Patent
Office because, in the opinion of the scientists, the inventor
had not been able to prove the functionality of his device.
Nevertheless, the defendant offered the engine for sale,
falsely telling prospective buyers that series production had
already begun. He thus collected a total of over 600,000
euros. The defendant had denied the fraud charge at the start
of the trial in September. However, after a good two months of
hearing evidence, the criminal chamber had no doubts about his
guilt.

The electromagnet 2 comprises a permanent magnet 8 and an
electrically conductive coil 9 disposed about a ferrous core 10.
A layer 11 of thermal insulation is interposed between the coil
and the permanent magnet in order to reduce degradation of the
permanent magnetic field caused by heat produced by the
current-carrying coil, which was a problem hitherto. Coupling
between the ferrous core and the surrounding coil increases the
magnitude of the variable magnetic field produced by the coil.
The insulating layer may be PTFE or an air gap. A similar
arrangement is positioned at the other end of the cylindrical
cathode 5 and anode 6 of the magnetron.

A magnetic circuit arrangement, in particular for use with a
magnetron 1, comprises three C-shaped magnets 4, the free ends
of which are each attached to a respective sideface 8 of one of
a pair of triangular shaped pole pieces 5. Each C-shaped magnet
4 consists of two ferrite blocks 6 joined by an iron strap 7.
The pole pieces 5 may each have a circular opening 10. The
magnetron 1 is located centrally with respect to the axial
magnetic field produced between the triangular pole pieces 5.
